I found an (admittingly) small mistake in the Asterix article. On page 3, there is a flyer for the Arcade game, on which stands "German Arcade Flyer", but it's pretty obviously a Dutch one (I don't speak any Dutch, but German is my mother language, so I can at least see that's it's certainly not German). There even seems to be "Exclusive for Netherlands" written on it (if I'm not mistaken).

I don't think it's an official game - I checked up the description on the App Store and it doesn't actually use any images, it's just something some third-party tossed together.

So I take it you got yourself the iPod Touch for Christmas? Edit: Astérix at the Olympic Games wasn't released in 2007, but 2008. Wouldn't make much sense if it would have seen release a year before both the movie and the Olympic Games.

I hope you saw the edit in my last post, Kurt? And hopefully Audi is still around. I sure enjoyed his articles and his obvious passion for video game music, always shining through.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that sentence. It's not about the first Asterix game, but obviously about the first Asterix game by Coktel Vision.

The ambiguity arises because Coktel Vision is not mentioned in the writeup for the MO5 game, making it unclear as to whether they did in fact develop it. (But checking again, Coktel Vision is mentioned in the writeup for Astérix and the Magic Cauldron, so I guess there is no ambiguity.)

I've beaten like 8 Asterix games now. Can anyone tell me why does each and every one of them have the exact same ending of a campfire scene with someone tied and hanging from a tree? Is that some sort of current theme in the comics?

Every comic/cartoon/movie ends with Astérix and Obélix telling the villagers about their adventure around the campfire. And they hang up Assurancetourix in the tree to prevent him from starting to sing.

Yes indeed. I thought it was a nice touch in the article to see all the variations on the theme throughout the technological generations.
