We Dare is an upcoming party game videogame (coming to Europe on 11 March) from Ubisoft for Wii and PS3 and while it's adult-oriented it has rating 12+ since, like it was mentioned in Wikipedia, the boards can only classify the game's content, not what the players may be doing. See for yourselves: And I was thinking that Wii can't become more mainstream after seeing games like Babysitting Mama. Loooooool. (Note that I'm Wii lover )

The funny part is, when you see the TV screen, there doesn't seem to be anything risque going on. (outside of those silhouettes near the end of the vid, I suppose) The leading theory is that someone at Ubi realized their latest random-ass minigame collection probably wasn't going to sell very well, and they decided to try a little re-branding.
I'm sure there have been people out there actively trying to pervert motion gaming since it's inception, this seems like a natural extension of that. At any rate, it's pretty tame in comparison to something like Galgun.

Meanwhile, at Nintendo... (I wanted to use the other known picture of Fils-Aime -that one where he has that really serious face and his eyes wide open- but I didn't want to find it so I used that one instead) (SUPA LATE EDIT: Found it!) Anyway... Funnily enough it's also on the PS3. And of course there's Move compatibility. So... yeah... The Wii version also supports the Balance Board for some reason...

The Wii version also supports the Balance Board for some reason... Reportedly, according to PEGI's rating descriptors, there is a minigame in which players stand on the balance board and weigh themselves, then attempt to shed as much weight as possible by removing articles of clothing (or items from their pockets).

Wow my country is embarasing for canceling it. Mass Effect 1 in UK was only rated 12 (American movie rating PG13) yet the Pegi rating of that game was 18.
Not the first time UK has mised out on a game rest of Europe got though.
Space Chanel 5 Part 2 Ps2 version. This got a UK demo but sega cancled it in the UK because of a documentary on Micheal Jackson airing on UK tv at the time at least we got the game on 360 now. Rule Of Rose: Cancled because some church complained about it begin to mean to little girls it had a pegi rating of 16. Tons of 505 Game Street published games: No real excuse for this just 505 games are bloody useless.
I bet the trailer for Wii dare though is way more racy than the actual game is. I did see a mock up cover in store for it once for preorders as well way before the ad showed up.
I wonder how this game is gonna sell at all now though with not coming out in the Two major Game selling countrys and what made them think of creating this game anyway.

Silly censors, don't they know that if they would have kept their mouths shut no one would have bought the game?
Now, after all this controversy, more people will surely buy it.

Not the first time UK has mised out on a game rest of Europe got though. Annoyingly means Ireland misses out on the games as well. Looking at the prices Rule of Rose goes for now makes me sick that I didn't pick it up. It's not that they get cancelled though. Usually it's the awful Daily Mail newspaper telling lies about the game (apparently according to them Mass Effect was a sex simulator which allowed you to do any sex act of you liking even with members of the same sex and Rule of Rose was filled with child torture and rampant lesbianism) and the publishers running scared.

I'm watching my girlfriend play it now that I obtained by 'unsavourary' means and it's not bad. The gameplay is pure crap but the story is interesting even though it doesn't make a lick of sense at the moment. I'll try play it myself when she's doen with it.

ΗUUUUUUUUUUUH? Just because of a stupit documentary they cancelled it? In that case Michael Jackson: The Experience (which is a multi-platform game) shouldn't be released as well. It doesn't make sense. I wonder how this game is gonna sell at all now though with not coming out in the Two major Game selling countrys. You got a point. And all that began from the commercial. Maybe Ubisoft should be more careful about its promotion. wii.nintendolife.com/news/2011/03/who_dares_to_release_we_dare_in_the_uk_not_ubisoft

I can't help but wonder if they're promoting the game as heavily in the rest of the EU.
