Nice. I've been excercising a lot more too, and I just replaced all liquids (save alcoholic ones) with water.

What's wrong with that (aside from the taste)? It's better than drinking calories. I mean, in an ideal world, we'd all eat fruit and vegetables and drink water at every meal. I just can't live that life, though.

I find diet soda has weird after taste that really puts me off soda; I think it has an almost burnt/moldy after taste that's very faint. I can't drink normal soda because of the high sugar content.

My wife tricked me into switching to diet about three years ago. I've always hated the taste of it, but you sort of get used to it over time. The thing is, I can't drink normal soda ever again, because it tastes incredibly wrong now. Not that I'd really ever want to absorb empty calories again...it just sucks to be kind of stuck in a flavor desert.

I just can't live that life, though. Water retention and chemicals mostly. Drinking mostly water and or tea is something I need to take up for overall health though. I've gotten to the point where I prefer the diet versions in some cases, brainwashing or habit I guess.

In general, my gaming time is cut short by my full time job, my online classes, exercise, long walks (a source of stress relief for me), housework, other entertainment choices (movies, anime, internet, etc), and my social life (I really miss the days of not having one). I really don't spend very much time at all with video games these days.

I love green tea and most of the flavour variations I come across. Loose leaf jasmine green tea and a lemongrass/spearmint green tea blend(tazo) are my favourites (there's also a delicious bagged ginger/white pear green tea by tazo too). Green tea is supposed to be incredibly good for you and help with weight loss and hunger control. I like the taste of black tea but can't stomach it usually. I'm a big fan of most herbal teas. I actually made it to the dog park today and spent the rest of the day chilling, net surfing, cleaning, cooking, etc. Today was a total write-off. Only productive thing I did was get all my online banking and e-bills sorted out.

I can't really get into tea drinking, but I love coffee! It's something that I just can't live without. I like it black and unsweetened (the way coffee should be consumed, in my opinion), but there is no shame in adding ice. I don't understand why everyone believes that black coffee should be scolding hot. I prefer iced coffee, because that way you can drink it more quickly, which makes it all the more stimulating!

Well, we'll see when I actually stick to it. Thanks though . I don't know about you but I used to have pretty good willpower. Like a hobbit. It's eroded away more and more with age. Between this and trying to work on art again I've been trying to undo that and find some non-self destructive hobbies to stick with.

Have you ever had Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk? Most 'higher end' Vietnamese restaurants serve/make it. If they don't make it with a little metal sieve/pot to brew the coffee into the cup with condensed milk, then it's not really Vietnamese iced coffee. It could be called iced espresso on the menu too. It's almost the only time I'll drink milk or coffee.

In the short term, moving.
In the long term, writing, other forms of gaming (roleplaying/tabletop), designing my own games, exercising, gotta find a job or start classes soon after I move, girlfriend, reading, cooking/mastering more recipes. I get to start my life anew in a good area in a few days and until then, I'm being casual as hell. It actually feels nice.

Song writing today- I done some hilariously Fields of the Nephilim vocals on a new song tonight! I'm resorting to song writing as an excuse to skimp on the time I am putting in to finally finishing the dreadful Silent Hill Homecoming...
