I've been using ePSXe for quite some time, it never failed me, until I got this PS2-USB adapter, configured the emulator to use it, then changed the config back again. The problem is that the emulator refuses any input, meaning that when I press a key, the emulator doesn't register that as a button, which means that those gigs of ISOs I've been gathering for some years are useless. I've reconfigured the control scheme dozens of times, but it still won't register my button-mashing. Any help?

This might be a stupid suggestion, but have you tried removing and reinstalling epsxe? Maybe the controller plugin got corrupted or something.

Check the drop box in the upper right corner of the controls window - it might have been set to Disabled by accident.

I tried both, and neither worked, thanks anyway.
JOEDIT: Appearantly ePSXe doesn't like its own Mulititap thing, which I disabled, fixing the problem.

I had this problem. It was fixed by something stupid. Just push the analogue button on your ps2 controller and it should work if the LED is red on the controller.
