And who exactly was the douche who felt he had to make a point and bring the game to the police's attention?

So, what, if they just changed the ages of those characters to 18 in their biographies, then the game wouldn't be banned?
Wacky.

Eternally frustrating on account of how easy it is to get around that -- and that it's a victimless crime to begin with. It happens all the time from what I can tell.

Before I say anything, I want to state that I find the country's banning of the game utterly fucking ridiculous. But... Come on, you're not missing out on anything

Yeah...I wasn't going to say anything, but DOA hasn't been good since DOA2 Hardcore. It's been essentially the same game ever since. A 3DS version of the same shit all over again isn't anything to get worked up over.

This is fucking rediculous
Still not as bad as that time the Greek government tried to ban all video games though

But... Come on, you're not missing out on anything This. I think it's pretty weak of Nintendo to not distribute. I guess they don't want anything linking them to child pornografy, however far fetched, to show up in news media.

I thought it was Animal Crossing that was going to make me a paedophile. Geeze, censors, make up your damn minds so I know what arbitrary labels to slap on myself!
Jokes aside, DoA is pretty meh, but any case of censorship, especially this fucking ricockulous, pisses me off. Even if I disagree with the content (I don't in this case) or whatever, it still has a right to exist. It's a damn videya gaem, nothing more.

Why didn't they just up their ages then? The certainly look like they can be 18 or up.

Both underage girls in the series are traditionally labeled "age unknown" in the localized versions.

I remember reading that they were sixteen. Whatever the case, it isn't pornography, there isn't even a flash of a titty.

It seems even the police came to the conclusion that it isn't pornography, but Nintendo are scared shitless anyway. So no DoA in Sweden, Norway or Denmark. I could always take a boat trip to Finland though, play the crap out of it, then go home Though I completely agree; DoA isn't that great to begin with. I'm just annoyed that people could basically draw a picture of a naked woman, write "SHE'S 16 YEARS OLD LULZ!" and then be sent to jail. Well, maybe not.. but technically. My country is changing... Or maybe the world is.

And yet the DOA Xtreme games and Paradise didn't recieve any bans...
But come on, CHILD PORNOGRAPHY?! Utter insanity there, folks! There isn't even any nudity! It's a fucking T-rated game!
Regarding DOA Dimensions, I used to think it was gonna be a standard DOA like the classics... until I saw that "Figure Mode" thingy. What happened to the old Tecmo of the 80's and 90's?
