Earthbound (SNES, Cart only) $100

Thanks for the input everyone; my intention is not to overprice this at all, I just don't want to get ripped of either. I don't think eBay is the best barometer for pricing -- there's always a ridiculous auction that you can point to -- but cart only EB's have been going for $90 to $130 for awhile now. I'm basing this on non-buy-it-now listings, so these are auctions that started out in the $10 range and got bid up those amounts.

I hate eBay, but I'm just going to bite the bullet and put it on there. I prefer trading/selling with people through forums or gametz as it feels slightly more personal, but I can't accept anything less than $90.

Earthbound for the Super Nintendo, cartridge and dust cover only. SRAM battery is still operational (i.e. you can still save your progress). Cart is in mint condition.

$100 firm. No trades.

I sold another EB cart on CL last year, and I got a deluge of "$100 for a SNES game? F**K YOU" and "I'll give you $5, that's how much the Exchange would pay for it" emails. Before you (yes you) get silly, check the following pages first:

I saw it in a video game store the other day being sold for 60 dollars.
If ya wanna sell it you should think about lowering the price a little bit.

Check out the completed listings on eBay for a cart only Earthbound, $100 is actually on the lower end of the asking price, believe it or not.

Only time i've seen Earthbound over 100 dollars was at Dragon-con.
And everything they sell is expensive.

Paid $10 for mine at a video store that was clearing out SNES games. Complete with guide and box too. Probably loses a little bit of value because there are those sticky stickers on everything, but was still a great deal.

Hmm, I won a copy for about 70 on eBay, and sold it later for around 65 through auction. This was last year, I guess the price has went back up for some reason.

I paid £50 (roughly $77) for a copy with the guide book in perfect condition but a store display case rather than the big box back in 2004.
After I finished it and realised I wasn't as massive a fan as I thought I would be. I then sold it in 2008 to cover a present for a big birthday of mums- it went for £127 ($196!) to some guy from Australia on Ebay...
I felt bad for him paying that amount but hey, no one held a gun to his head and it helped me get mum a nice trip to NYC

I bought a new copy of it in 1996 for $10 at Best Buy, where they had a stack of like 30 of them. I traded it to a guy for an ST-Key+4Meg cart and a copy of KOF '98 for Saturn in 1999. Go figure.

I really wish I knew more about EarthBound at the time it was released. I remember seeing a little about it in Nintendo Power, but I didn't pay much attention to it. I since have gotten a copy online and beaten/enjoyed it, but it would have been nice to play it back when it was first released, and wasn't so expensive.
