It's pretty much self explanatory, But if you had (mostly) Infinite resources, What classic game would you remake on the next gen systems? For me it'd be Battletoads and probably, probably Streets of Rage

Nova 9, Rise of the Dragon (and I'd get Cam Clarke again to do the voice of Blade), the complete Ultima VII (with a more KOTOR-like interface), and Jumping Flash 1 & 2.

A couple of games I would like to remake someday (and eventually will):

Zelda 2: The Adventures of Link (with gorgeous Symphony of the Night beating graphics rather than the horrid '3d model/2d gameplay' overhaul it would probably receive like that new Ghosts n' Goblins game) Metroid 2: Return of Samus (to the same effect as above- I don't want another Prime retread either!) Hell Night: with much superior graphics to add to the atmosphere, a fully reworked soundtrack going for the effect Doom 3 originally was going to go for (the surrounding atmoshpere almost providing music from the noises it makes? count me in!). A better translation and some well done voice acting wouldn't be unwelcome either Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake - fully remade, voice acted- the works (even if it does more or less get aped the entire time by MGS) Punch Out: imagine this done using the wii-motes to swing your various punches and block etc! (ok, It may need two wii-motes, but I like the concept enough to pay for two of them) Shadowrun! (The SNES version) - with sexed up graphics, superior hacking scenes (they always felt a tad lazy) and a KOTOR style interface, lengthened plot, voice acting and perhaps less wonky mechanics.

I'm going to go into more detail about how I would remake the games I listed ideally but no time just yet. MP83, you've probably heard of them but if you like Road Fighter you should also try out Bump 'n Jump on the NES, the arcade game Mad Gear (GREAT game in this style by Capcom, so naturally it's the name of the gang you destroy in Final Fight, car and all though it has voice overs that make Street Fighter Alpha 3 sound like MacBeth), and the Moto Roader games on the PC Engine systems.

Punch out would rock on DS too and I gurantee you we'll see Punch out on Wii

Breakdown needs a Wii port. Only if they skip replaying the last area twice and take out some of the really nasty platform sections

Yeah. Perhaps find some way to make some of the solutions a little more obvious (like jumping up the elevator shaft near the beginning of the game - it took me several tries to figure that out, and several hundred more to actually execute it).

Live a Live. I'd add more scenarios, especially. A long time ago I designed a bunch of scenarios for it but they're lost to the world now. One was set during WWII, and was probably my favorite.

BIONIC FUCKING COMMANDO, OF COURSE!!!!!
Sorry, but it really, really, really, really, really, REEEAAAALLLLLEEEEEEEEEE needs a modern-day update, if not just because Nintendo's now much more liberal with censorship and will allow the actual title of Hitler and the Nazis. ;D
Oh... that, and the gameplay will be much less linear, with each area taking at least twenty minutes to explore everything within, with at least twelve different areas (not counting Neutral Zones) to peruse. Of course, have the necessary graphical and sound upgrades, with lots of new gameplay elements. Perhaps there could be lots of firearms (maybe some with upgrades) in addition to some melee weapons as well? And the B. Arm would control as well as it did in the GB game, maybe even better with new tricks that can be performed... like pulling down light fixtures and tossing them at enemies! Oh, the possibilities are endless...

Vagrant Story is first and foremost on my list - while it's a great game with graphics that still look good today, the constant switching of weapons in the menu screens are a chore, and as such would benefit from upgraded controls with some kind of quick switch feature.
Panzer Dragoon Saga is also on the list - while it's a beautiful game in its own right, it clearly is trying to achieve things the Saturn just can't completely handle, as indicated by its heavy pop-in and slowdown. A new version to show off the amazing world would be more than welcome.
