I've only recently become aware that there are sides other than Steam itself and Humble Bundle that offer exclusive Steam sales, as I've happened upon www.bundlestars.com/Are there any more sites like this? Here you can purchase indie games for minimum 1$: www.playinjector.com/ And the Summer Quest Bundle got extended!

Please refrain from shilling for your site over and over again. Once in enough. Consider this a moderation warning, cause you're just about one post away from being classified as a spambot.

Was just going to post on this. Plan on picking up at least Yoshi's Island. Hmmmmm... I've got most of the others I want. Mario Golf might not be bad for free.

"Bravely Default is only available for store pick up." Picked up Zelda and got Pokémon for free instead. Thanks Hero.

For anyone interested, the 720p version of GTA: San Andreas is available in the Games on Demand section of XBLA right now for only $3.74. The price is supposedly good through tomorrow, 10/27.

This week if you get any game for $40 or more at Best Buy, you can get a two year subscription to their Gamer thing Unlocked "club" for $30 (normally $120), which gets you 20 percent off all new game purchases for that period. Unfortunately they were out of Bayonetta 2, but I picked up Fantasy Life with the subscription and they even gave me the discount on it. Considering how Nintendo games never go on sale, I figured this would be a good deal in the long run.

That sounds like a pretty good deal. Unfortunately, I don't make it out to Best Buy all that often. On the other hand, Crusader: No Remorse is currently free on Origin. It's a great game, once you work your head around its bizarro control scheme.

It's a great game, once you work your head around its bizarro control scheme. I think I've bought maybe one game from Best Buy in the last four years before this; I ended up going with it because Fry's seems to have just given up the ghost and they never have Nintendo games on sale like they used to, and now I have to pay tax on shit I buy from Amazon (so I'm using that a lot less nowadays as well). Out of curiosity, how is the control system weird? - I really want to play those games but after the control nightmare that is System Shock I'm not sure my BS tolerance will take it if the controls are really rough.

It has this really weird movement system. You press the left and right arrows to rotate your orientation, then up or down to move forward or back. Sort of a proto-tank style. This makes it really annoying to target anything, be it an enemy or a switch. There are also about a dozen extra buttons for everything else—rotating through inventory, tossing a grenade, etc.
It's slightly better on PS1, but that version looks a lot worse than the PC original, and they never ported No Regret to consoles.

To its credit, the PC versions of Crusader do let you play them almost entirely using the keys on the numeric keypad, which at least helps with remembering where the keys are. Just make sure to toggle Numlock or else you're in Q*Bert territory.

Have never actually bothered using a pad on anything not specifically designed for it. Generally, I'm willing to put up with whatever keyboard layout kludge the developer sees fit to give me.
