Duck Tales 2 (Gameboy) review, GamePro: (I had forgotten this game had a Game Boy port ) It's not really a port since all the levels are different. More like a re-imagining.

BLOODY HELL!
That must have taken ages to scan. I'll definitely be printing off the Startropics map to help finish it. Or perhaps I'll put it on my PSP, to keep by my side as a kind of digital "map reader".

I found one page scan of PlayStation version of Onimusha from EDGE 73 from July 1999. Are there other informations about PSX version from other game magazines? Time frame is April 1999. to October 1999. I posted about Onimusha PSX in this topic.

That's because the second generation of GameFan (1998-2000) was fucking horrible. GameFan was basically a glorified fanzine when crazy ol' Dave Halverson ran it, but it was darned fun to read and covered import stuff really well. After ECM took over the whole thing became a ridiculous exercise in "hardcore" gamer posturing with little substance to back it up. I remember how half of their Strider 2 review was largely unrelated complaining about the Internet and 3-D games (and how they threw a tantrum when another magazine pointed out the game's dumb on-the-spot unlimited continues), or how their glowing Sonic Adventure review had a line like "it's smoother than the curves on a California beach bunny" or something else that even Halverson would find embarrassing.

I love the way in which review score numbers are so inflated. I DIDN'T LIKE THIS GAME 6/10

I love the way in which review score numbers are so inflated. I DIDN'T LIKE THIS GAME 6/10 The best part was that this was post-deflation of their review system.
