Well I can only hope that some of the rumors I have heard about the damn download prices for certain games on The Revolution are just that.
I will seriously be pissed if they want to charge $20 for any older title. Just doesn't seem right to me.

That said, Kurt you mean to say that ANY Asian 360 game isn't region coded? Anything good that hasn't made it here yet/won't make it here? Any of the ones released thus far are not region coded. They're all stuff that's been released in America though. Tomb Raider is the latest one.

It's a cool bit of trivia to know though. I was discussing it with some people on the shmups forum. We're hoping if they can afford the kits that all the small shmup developers that were putting out games on the Dreamcast put out Asian releases of items on the 360. The developers themselves are aware of how they're so niche that a lot of their sales come from importers anyway so it would seem ideal.
wil I could definitely see them charging $20 since the games will absolutely sell. As an example, Metroid: Zero Mission on the GBA was outsold by....NES Classic Metroid. Even though the entire NES Classic Metroid is ON Zero Mission. People will gladly pay $20 for a lot of these games, though from what I heard only the N64 games will be $20.

$20 for an emulated game? I think that would be worse than suicide. Maybe if they go for some sorta gametap like subscription, but $20 per game would be a sick, sick joke!

I just find out that some store here is selling X-Box 360 for 5000 NIS (or 1111$)!!! I mean, OMG buying X-Box 360 in England + Oblivion + the flight ticket to there is cheaper >_<

Here's one for you all to think on. There are now advertisements in games like there are on the movie.
If companies are paying big money to game developers to put ad's in games, why the fuck are we paying more for the damn games? Shouldn't some of the ad money serve to offset the damn prices?
These are valid questions I think.

The developers are stuffing their pockets. Now while there are advertisements in movies, that hasn't made the price for watching the movie any cheaper either.

So I'm not getting a cart, no box, no manual, no extras (Some games have extras.)...just the data stored on my console? For $20 bucks, no way. $10? Maybe, if it was a good, and classic game I REALLY wanted to play. $5? That seems fair for a download.

$5 maybe for a great game- most of the NES titles that will be offered probably wouldn't even be worth a $2 download- I feel sorry for anyone who bought the Ice Climbers on the GBA- that game is horrible and Rose tinted glasses will never alter that fact

I rly want to play the jump ss game coming out fo rit No need to mod it, just pick up a version of Freeloader and you should be able to run Japanese games on your Gamecube no problem. As long as they are supported by that particular version...and most are. www.ncsxshop.com/cgi-bin/shop/DTL-FLD.htmlThere's a link to a good store for it. Hope it helps.

I was hoping for alist of compatable games for it somewhere. I'm wanting to buy some game i saw at the dungeon. It's like smash bros only it's got Simon Belmont and Optimus prime.
It's called Dream Mix World TV Fighters or something.

Oh yeah, I have that game. It's not bad, but it's nowhere near as deep as Melee. The battles aren't anywhere near as long as the ones in Melee either, since you're all scambling for each other's hearts.
