The movie was freeky and somewhat entertaining, but I'm realy skeptic about the Mothmans excistence. But anyway, urban legends interest me and they also intrest many a writer in need of a good idiea and some easy cash. Not that I am pointing any fingers.

The movie was pretty freaky, nights when I walk down the road I wonder if there is something in the bushes staring at me like mothman. Its real feaky when you think of stuff like that

But when you think of it, why would a being as advanced and mysterious as the mothman even bother to try and contact us in such cryptic way? Because it likes being an urban myth?

Totally agree Necro, it always seems to be the case with these advance beings, hiding in the bushes and leaving cryptic notes.
We're sooooo advance we don't need logic or reasoning we're just jerks.

I have both the movie and the book. They're completely different animals, but I recall both being interesting.
As for whether or not the Mothman is a myth.... well, it quite clearly is. Even the author of the book doesn't take the concept very seriously.
