Is it just for me that the left column images get bent out of shape with different proportions on the pixels? They are clear, but text for example gets all jumbled up. If I right click and open in a new tab they display normally.

If I right click and open in a new tab they display normally. Yeah, because they're squished. I also disabled the filtering because it makes the header image look like crap. But, they should be uniform width.

OK, I looked into this, and honestly I don't know what the problem is. I THINK the issue is that it's not reading the iframe for the header correctly, but I have no idea why. It works fine for me locally and all of the files are in place so it's not anything broken. So it might be a problem on the server side, which I can't fix directly. Broken (old server): hg101.kontek.net/finalfight/finalfight.htmOK (new server, same exact files): www.hardcoregaming101.net/finalfight/finalfight.htmI think for now the archive will just have be declared busted. I'm gonna be finishing up some of the longer pieces that still need to be transferred, and directly upload the rest to the new server until they're converted. I started this over the weekend but there's still a lot to do (the entirety of the Korean article, for one) On the broken page, take a look at the Console tab in Developer tools (Ctrl+Shift+I in both Chrome and Firefox). It produces a lot of errors like this on Chrome:

Oh, I understand! Kontek must've switched to HTTPS but the new server isn't. I've thought about doing this, too.

Why no discussion thread for the Localhost article?

So I haven't been able to access the site for a few hours now... I tried this morning when I left for work and it was down too. I know the server company was doing some maintenance, it might need to be rebooted manually. I'll check when I get home tonight. EDIT: Yup, a power cycle did it, it's back up.

What ever happened to the Star Wars article about Knights of the Old Republic that was posted a few days ago? One day it was there and the next it disappeared.

It wasn't ready to be posted and went up accidentally, since it was auto scheduled, but things were shifted around since I was out of town for a weekend and needed to do a few other things to promote the book. It'll be up again (along with the review of its sequel) in a couple of days.

Should we maybe start a design contest for the main site logo Kurt? This one's too posh now

Is there any way as a reader to get rid of that Discord widget? I find it really distracting the way random unrelated messages pop up when I'm trying to read an article. In general that whole right column is really busy and annoying and I'd rather not have something drawing my eye to it and away from the article every few seconds. I don't mind seeing that column on the main page but in the articles it's a bit much. The actual text seems to occupy very little space now.
Also, that Night Mode button is really kind of hidden now. I keep recommending it to people who complain about the site redesign, the screenshots and general layout look better that way to me.
EDIT - I guess it was doing that cause I was still logged on to the discord since the last time I went there?

Edit: my bad. It's the alert "click here for the chat" that is only on the pages and not posts. I'll look into a solution to show the chat only on the front page asap!

Fixed! Sorry for the inconvenience. I had the code in a place that went to every page, but only for the past day. Thanks for the quick feedback.
