For peer review, an article on Immercenary for 3DO. WARNING: contains some mild female upper nudity. This shouldn't be a problem, but the US is apparently quite sensitive to this. So if Botticelli's Birth of Venus is NSFW, then this article is NSFW.www.hardcoregaming101.net/immercenary/immercenary.htmThis has been on my mind for quite a while, especially since interviewing the developers for Gamasutra. It's an unusual and genuinely unique FPS. Any corrections, let me know. Likewise if you have magazines with coverage of it.

The remainder of the Garden's inhabitants are compromised of 244 lower-ranked Rithms.
yet the voice actors was Christopher Stashuk
Shouldn't "LSD The Dream Simulator" be in the related articles?

Cheers. Will fix those later when on my regular PC. Including the Publisher hyperlink, which should be #EA. Also, I need to add target_blank to the gallery at the bottom.
As for LSD, could do. It needs a hyperlink definitely.
My usual style is if I mention the article in the body of the text, with a hyperlink, I don't mention it in the related articles because I'm aiming to spread around as many internal links as possible. I could swap it with ROTT.

I'll fish through some magazines later to see if I can get some scans in. Only one I know of having done already is this one: Really have an appreciation for this game, though time hasn't been too kind to it. Heck, it's the only 3DO game I actually own!

Wonderful! I'll add that when I next get a chance to update the HTM file.

I could swap it with ROTT. Well, if you put a link to it in the text itself, then leave the related articles as they are, that should do it.

The Venuses are named after the Roman Goddess of love, the Greek one is called Aphrodite. First post a nitpick, I hope you don`t mind, cheers

Nitpicking it great. It shows someone actually read the entirety of the article. ;D Well spotted! Also, I swear my original text mentioned Botticelli's Birth of Venus painting, since both the Venus enemy and Silva seem to be striking a reminiscent pose (plus, or course, the name). Something to correct/add at a later date. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Birth_of_Venus_%28Botticelli%29

Good article. I love that game. I noticed the article said that you need to have 3DO hardware to play the game due to emulation incompatibility. I figured I'd let you know that at least 4DO emulates Immercenary without problems. I'm unsure if any of the available versions of FreeDO do. 4DO was based on FreeDO, so there's a good chance at least some version of FreeDO can support it.

I may still have an Italian magazine with a review, if I find it, are you interested in a scan?
The review wasn't very positive (around 63% I think) but I still remembered Immercenary thanks to it because, beside FPSes being not common on consoles at the time, it looked interesting despite its shotcomings.

3do games were always consistently terrible, this one of the few good ones tho. if youre looking for another fun exclusive to cover i recommend shockwave 2, or possibly battlesport (could use a remake for sure) or the shmup game in furopon world.

"Venuses: Named after the Greek Goddess of Love" > that would be Roman, not Greek. The Greek Goddess was Aphrodite.

What? EA made an original and interesting title? Huh. Different times.
