Bit off topic, but if you don't want to spring for Elevator Action Returns and Metal Black on Saturn, you can just get the $30 Taito Memories 1 for PS2 which has both and save yourself tons rather than shelling for the Saturn versions. Can't speak for the quality of the ports on the PS2, but EAR is awesome fun, and Metal Black is cool, though quite cheap from what little I played of it. Good recommendation actually, plus it sends that little message to the people who own the Taito brand now that we want more of the same.

Just remember that these were only released in Japan and Europe. The European versions of Taito Memories ever had a few exclusive games like Bubble Symphony (on the Xbox version I think.) The American Taito Legends collection has an almost completely different set of games (it's worth grabbing all three, though.) The ports are great, they run like a dream.

It's still on PC (I think), so you could import...won't EAR and MB be out on TL2, then?

I have Taito legends for XBOX where is 2 I NEED 2 RAYSTORM BITCHES RAYSTORM!!!!!!!!!!!! This is on the Taito Memories 2 disc for JP PS2. I really wish Taito would release these in America, though. I looked over the US Taito collection, but the games are all from way, way back, and doesn't have nearly the diversity of the JP releases, which contain stuff from early 80s all the way to the early/mid 90s (ex. G-Darius on Memories 2). Frankly, the US collection is crap compared to either one of the Memories volumes. IMO, these two collections would rival the upcoming Genesis game collection as the best retro compilation. It's too bad no major site talks about these games, though. Rather, all I see is stuff on the crap EA collection, which is total junk.

Prikura is a great shooter on Saturn. Also underrated is Steamgear Mash. Dunno if these have been mentioned yet.

Depends whether they come with gamesets. If they do I'd say saturn because its librarys more neglected.
But I'm a sucker for Powerstone so I'd probably trade the whole Saturn library rather then give it up. With the DC you've got some stuff that didn't get ported anywhere else but not heaps. Bombers best version ever produced was on Saturn I believe so that's big points in its favour since Bomber Online loses it's Online status now.
Those awesome upgrades of classics also exist on the Saturn which is pretty cool. It's a really tough call actually.
