It's times like this that I wonder what the point even is if having a Constitution if it can be twisted around by a fascist with a grudge as a means of oppressing a marginalized group. I feel like the last few years have been a nightmare for democracy. Or an all around nightmare for a lot of us. I'm cisgender but an ally of trans and nonbinary people, and dammit, this isn't right. I was afraid something like this would happen pretty much as soon as it became a possibility that Trump would get elected. :/ Blegh
Anyways... I want to like GOG, but I wish CD Projekt would get their shit together and stop making shitty tweets and other communications with transphobic undertones. Like, geez. They need to get their shit together. www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-10-23-gog-facing-twitter-backlash-again-after-insensitive-wontbeerased-tweet

I don't know what is up CD Projekt Red's ass about this. It makes me not want to support them.

I honestly found it a bit oddly handled how in the finale of Witcher II, they threw a "and he's gay, too" about the main bad guy in, as if that in and on itself makes him more depraved. Geralt even tells him he better not have touched Ciri, as if being gay makes him a pedo too. That was a very weird moment in an otherwise stellar game for me.

Their apology was stunningly awful. What the hell is going on at that company?

I don't want to generalize, but I think it's fair to say that Poland has never had a stellar track record regarding LGBT rights.

kaoru's post makes me think that whoever wrote that part clearly has issues with homosexuality, whether they admit it to themselves or not, and is only pretending otherwise publicly to avoid making waves. Lots of people like that.

I'd never heard of her before, but I'm happy for her :3

She's more of a youtube personality, but she's been beginning to get more acting roles. I took notice of her when she did a cameo in Ant Man, after the last fight. She's been a part of some cosplay-theme LA Metro ads to promote decency and politeness.

Looks like Kim Davis may have lost to the guy she refused to give a marriage license to.

Looks like Kim Davis may have lost to the guy she refused to give a marriage license to. Was that the woman who refused to give a marriage license to a gay couple for "moral" or religious reasons even though the state allowed same sex marriages and then fought when she got sued and people angry over her?
If so, good, the discrimination is already really terrible, but i also dislike how a woman who works in a place of law just refused to uphold the very law she claims to obey in her job.
Religion is fine, great even for some people, just don't think it should be above the freaking law, nor should you use it to fucking discriminate and hate on people.

Yep, that's the one.

Yes, totally. It boggles my mind that people with Kim Davis' level of intelligent and character are able to work in government positions.
This is why we have separation of church and state.
