It's been a while, but GC9X Fight returns, due to popular demand! We're may not be bigger, but we're just as bad!

HOW TO SIGN UP:
1. Download MAMEHub from here.
2. Make sure ports 6805 (UDP and TCP) are open. You don't HAVE to do this, but ONE player, the one who hosts, will have to have their ports open.
3. Install MAMEHub and make an account, if you don't already have one.
4. Download Marvel Superheroes VS Street Fighter and Soldier Blade. We won't give links, but you'll need the ROM from the MAME 0.148 romset and the US version of Soldier Blade. Put the zip files in your ROMs folder in MAMEHUB.

So, if you weren't around for the last GC9X Fights, here's how it works. We've going to have tournaments across the forum for two different games. We'll spend a couple of weeks playing one game, then we move onto to the next. So, what happens to the winners of the two games? Well, that's when we introduce this year's new feature... the electrifying... the lethal...

SUPERSLAM SHOWDOWN TIEBREAKER ROUND.

Our two winners will enter into a wrestling match as only the finely-tuned wrestling engine of WWE '13 can deliver, as hosted by our Wildweasel. The two will battle it out to see who comes out in top in one final showdown!

(Note: The winner of this wrestling match doesn't get anything. It's just for fun.)

The tournament for Marvel Super Heroes VS Street Fighter will start June 15th, so be ready!

Yes, I am entirely serious about the WWE thing, though I must stress, I own the 2012 version, not the 2013 version, and it is on the PS3 (and I do not own the Online Pass, so if you had intended on sending me your created wrestler, I unfortunately cannot receive it).

How the Tiebreaker is Going to Work

The match will be Extreme Rules, one-on-one, in the official WeaseLeague ring (it's large, blue, and has a bloody "VS." in the middle), and set to Best 2 out of 3 falls. Weapons and "dirty fighting" are enabled, disqualification is disabled, time limit is fifteen minutes and there will be no tiebreaker if the timer runs out at a draw (you guys will just both be the winners, heh).

But here's how the character creation will work. You can send me a photograph of you (make sure it's one you'd actually want to be seen, because I will be following it closely!), or drawn artwork, or you can create yourself in an online generator like HeroMachine (but nothing TOO superheroic, WWE '12 does have limits, after all!) and send me the results. Feel free to include specific instructions like costume embellishments (some things may not be available though), custom logos (within reason; remember, I'll have to draw them manually using either the logo editor or by mashing prebuilt symbols together), etc.

Here's what I'll need from The Winners:

* Photograph, artist's interpretation, HeroMachine screenshot, or whatever you wish to represent you.

* Whose fighting style you wish to mimic. (A list of wrestlers that are included in the game will be placed in a spoiler below)

* A song that you wish to represent you (WARNING! As I will be posting this on Youtube, please try not to pick a song that will infringe on someone's copyright! As far as I can tell, most music from video games is okay, except for noted exceptions like Halo, Gears of War, Command & Comquer, etc. which will trigger copyright notices on my account.) I will use this song as your entrance theme, which plays during your entrance, but also if you win.

* A "mood" for your entrance. WWE '12 has a pretty in-depth entrance creator, but the execution is kind of complicated and tedious, so I won't ask you to design your own entrance; just give me some key words to go by and I will do them. (Or I'll select a really flamboyant one, because I'm a jerk.)

* And lastly: I will let YOU specify whether the crowd will cheer or boo at you.

* What the ring announcer and commentators will call you is up to me. Options are limited, and I will probably select one that is deliberately wrong for purposes of humor value. (For example: if your name is Michael, I will probably select Mick as your ring name.)

* The match will be livestreamed, then uploaded to my personal Youtube account.

-I have no idea how to configure Mamehub and my last attempts were futile
-I have no idea how much my location will affect to my ping and such
-I like fighting games, but my playstyle is pretty poor, which would probably mean that I'll get my ass handed to me instantly if I fight against someone who knows how to play the game properly. As for SHMUPS, its gonna be a contest of suckage.

Ah okay, I'm slightly "better" at that one so that's good news for me.

Okay so I have MAMEHub installed, but now I can't sign up because it says the server is down or something. Is this just a problem on my end?
