db.gamefaqs.com/console/nes/file/goemon_2.txtThe guy who wrote this FAQ/Walkthrough stopped right after he wrote about where you can find the first pass in Stage 6: Ninja Country. Could someone please tell me everything that you have to do after this point on in order to beat the game? Also, how many levels are there in Ganbare Goemon 2?

Sorry I am not able to help but on a side note:
How many Ganbare Goemon's were there for SNES? I hear 2 is the only one that's "really playable" as the rest have fairly significant more JP Text -- can anyone confirm this?

There were a total of 5 Super Famicom Goemon games: Ganbare Goemon: Yukihime Kyuushutsu Emaki (1991) Ganbare Goemon 2: Kiteretsu Shogun Magginesu (1993) Ganbare Goemon 3: Shishijyuurokubei no Karakuri Manji Katame (1994) Ganbare Goemon Kirakira Douchuu: Boku ga Dancer ni Natta Wake (1995) Soreyuke Ebisumaru! Karakuri Meiro - Kieta Goemon no Nazo!! (1996) Hope this list helped you out.

Ganbare Goemon: Yukihime Kyuushutsu Emaki was released outside of Japan as Legend of the Mystical Ninja. I have beaten 2 and 4, both of which are challenging games, but do not require much Japanese. I believe there were only one or two parts in both where I had to consult a faq. Soreyuke Ebisumaru! Karakuri Meiro - Kieta Goemon no Nazo!! was a puzzle game and can be played without any Japanese. Ganbare Goemon 3: Shishijyuurokubei no Karakuri Manji Katame has so much text that it is more or less impossible to play without a faq.
