Welcome back ReyVGM. So, browsing through the world of MSX I found about this game called "Makaijima - Higemaru", now I don't know if if this game is common knowledge or not but I haven't heard anyone mention it before. What impressed me was the fact that it features enemies from the Ghosts'n Goblins series and Firebrand/Red Arremer is the last boss! Here are some pics: BTW, this is the subtitle of the game, can anyone tell me what does it say there and what does it mean?

Something like "Big Adventure of the Seven Islands", literally.
I didn't know this existed though. That's awesome.

Looks like a mix between GnG and Pirate Ship Higeramu, didn't know there was a third game in the Higeramu series (arcade Pirate Ship Higeramu, Famicom Higeramu which is different from it's arcade counterpart, and now this game for MSX). Great time for this GnG topic to appear as I'm currently playing UGnG (so many negative reviews on the stiff jumping, the reviewers must realize the entire series isn't for the feint of heart).

Yeah, it's part of the Higemaru series. Also released on the Famicom in 1987 as Higemaru Makaijima
Awesome find.

Ah, this. The only Higemaru game I've played. I used to play this for hours on a real MSX2 as a kid. Never managed to beat it, though.
