Get the game from here: dynamo.geol.msu.ru/msx/disks.htmAnd the best MSX emulator is definitely BlueMSX, which you can get from here: www.bluemsx.comMan, SD Snatcher is probably the greatest RPG game I've ever played. It's a shame it wasn't covered at HG101 as detailed as Snatcher was. The SD Snatcher part of the article could use more screenshots (two of the current ones were obviously taken with a MSX emulator that doesn't run the game flawlessly, so they could be updated) or graphics from the game (I can help with that, I have screenshots of every enemy of SD Snatcher game, for instance). The article is also missing Snatcher related links, which, at least for me, made the article look unfinished (again, I can help with that, if wanted). So, Kurt? ;D

Once you can buy guns with more range, it won't feel so hard. You can also try aiming for the wheels/movement systems first.

I've finished it like six times in my lifetime. So, I should know pretty much about the game.

I really like the game so far. The battle system is very good and unique, and the story look promising. It really surprised me that RPG from 1990 can be that good, it truly feels like one of the great PS1 RPGs.

I really love the game's soundtrack. Which reminds me, I really should buy this sometime: Click!Contains all MSX2 music tracks from Snatcher and SD Snatcher. I have the album in MP3 format, but I want it originally!

ok SOMEHOW i passed that, and now I'm near the end but I can't find the Angel-L (or something like that, the Lucifer-b antidote) and without it I can't beat the final boss. Where is it?

You'll have to backtrack to the laboratory area. It should be full of Snatchers now carrying test tubes. One of the Snatchers there has the antidote you're looking for.

Thanks but I had just finish the game few hours ago (took me some time to find that bastard with the yellow test tube). Anyway very good game overall, here is what I think:
Pros: + Great plot + Very nice battle system + Good art design + It feels like it once was a quest game, which sometimes can be a good thing + Cool cyber-punk atmosphere + Some funny scenes
Cons: - Some technical problems (the text moves slowly, lots of loading times) - Some very very frustrating parts (like the beginning, the mirror house, the search for the antidote) - It feels like it once was a quest game, which sometimes can be a bad thing

Cons: - Some technical problems (the text moves slowly, lots of loading times) Wasn't the screen scrolling a bit slow as well (a common problem in MSX games)? As for the text moving slowly: I guess you didn't kept the left ALT key pressed down to make texts appear faster. It's like the mirror house and "search for the antidote" parts were only added there to make the game longer. Good that you liked the game.
