Survival Kids and King Kong

I just started playing King Kong 2 for the MSX (made by Konami) and I couldn't help noticing how similar it is to the GBC games Survival Kids & Survival Kids 2 (also by Konami).
You need to find and fix a radio, the days on that island pass just like SK, the look and feel of the game is just like SK.
Overall KK2 is pretty cool.
Anyone else played these games too?
