Okay, it's a shooter that can't be younger than, say, the year 1999, it's got a fairly realistic-looking fighter, and the enemies are on two plains, meaning that if you only have weaponry for one plain, you can't shoot at enemies on the other plain. Weapons aren't very widespread, but I remember the lasers sounding wierd, and that pressing space ingame would lower your score in exchange for this really helpful laser weapon. You could buy weaponry inbetween missions, not very varied, but after buying weapons, you could select one of four missions, and after finishing that mission you could pick any of the other three or a brand new one (I think).
It's compatible with Windows 9x, and it was the first ever shmup I ever played.

Sorry, no. It's a vertical shooter, with lots of gray. The laser weapon I talked about earlier is kinda like Cyclops' Optic Blast, in that it reaches from the bottom to the top of the screen instantaneously, then kinda shrinks after it's fired. It's yellow, and although you might think it's one of those "hold down the button and the laser keeps going", it's more of a rapid-fire weapon.
I remember it really clearly since it was some of the best fun I ever had.
