While I enjoyed SF4 more then most 'round here, rumor on the street is that Omega mode's reception is going to determine where SF5 is going to be on the scale between SF4 to Vs.

Can't wait for this game to be overshadowed at all tournament scenes by Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and whatever the new Nether Relms fighter is that everyone will forget about in roughly seven months.

A well-known Street Fighter game overshadowed at tournaments? Is that even possible?

And don't go pulling any shit like Konami did with Silent Hill HD. Put all of the games on the disc.

Capcom 3 and whatever the new Nether Relms fighter is that everyone will forget about in roughly seven months. Which is a shame, because MK9 was a way better game than SF4 ever was. Then again, I'd say the fighting game community tends to forget any game in about that time, because all those sorts of people seem to care about is anything that has Capcom's name on the box. I mean, look at how much effort went into Skullgirls, and how many the quote unquote professional fighting game players talk about that on places like Eventhubs or Shoryuken. Is my bitterness leaking? I apologize. On topic, I'm trying tot hink of what would make me hate Capcom a little less. A Marvel 3 port would be lovely, but apparently Marvel can't comprehend the concept of one of their games on PC, so I dunno. If they can't do that, I'd settle for Darkstalkers Ressurection, since Vampire Savior might be my absolute favorite Capcom fighter. I'd also appreciate if we got the DMC HD collection on PC, so that we could play 3 in a way that's slightly less terrible than its actual PC port.

And don't go pulling any shit like Konami did with Silent Hill HD. Put all of the games on the disc. No shit. I don't understand how they got the MGS HD collection as right as they could, but screwed up that bad with SH HD. I can't imagine Capcom would would ever go so far as to put something like this together, let alone get it right unless its some sort of anniversary collection.

It's because the MGS HD and Legacy collections were done by Kojima Productions itself while Silent Hill and others were done by outsourced chumps. All of these collections in general are done as cheaply as possible with minimal effort every time. It's a miracle the PS3 Silent Hill collection even got that patch.

Pretty sure MGS HD was done by Bluepoint, who also handled God of War HD.

They did the basic gruntwork of porting of MGS2 and 3 but everything else was done by other smaller developers, all with with major oversight from Kojima Productions. If you look at the ones there weren't involved in like the SH HD and Zone of the Enders, those were a disaster (to the point where Kojima Productions canned what little work was done on Zone of the Enders 3 so that that team could fix the HD collection instead). With the HD collection Kojima Productions provided the supervision needed to make it awesome instead of them just outsourcing it to random western developers like the latter two collections.
