www.hardcoregaming101.net/horrortour/horrortour.htmReaching further into the realm of bizarre Japanese first person adventure games, Horror Tour was actually brought to North America under the name Zeddas. It was also ported to the Saturn. For now, this article covers the first game, but we'll be adding a review of the second game shortly. There was also a third game, but it's so elusive that I'm not even sure it was ever officially released. Hopefully this article will help us find it!

The article would need some images to break the text, and the quotes should probably be made to stand out a bit more.

The entry for the second game is finished and boy was it a frustrating experience, but ultimately I can't complain because if it wasn't for Kurt there probably wouldn't be more than a handful of people outside Japan (and probably not many more in Japan) that have heard of it let alone actually played it.

The review for Horror Tour 2 has been posted. It's about as complete as it can get until someone digs up a copy of the lost third game, if that ever happens.

If someone could dig up information on this lost third game, that would be a pretty impressive piece of video game journalism. Although they'd need to be bilingual me thinks to get anywhere.

During my research when writing the article I had planned to inquire about the two sequels on Futaba and 2chan but unfortunately both of them require Japanese IPs to post on them. There are endless mirrors and archives of both but trawling through them for info proved fruitless. However looking at the back of the box of Labyrinthe (why the 'e' by the way?)it does seem to have been made with Macromedia Director as well, so that's one question answered.

Hmm, did anyone ever post a video with the credits from the Japanese version? We could try to track down the creators if we get the kanji.

The entire staff in listed in English in the credits of the manual. I added the main folks into the info box, but I can type in the rest later. I checked up both their names and didn't find any recognizable contacts that could be the same people.
Anyway, here's where I've looked. The used goods store Suruga-ya doesn't have any listing for Labyrinthe, which means for however long they've been open online (a few years?) they haven't received any copies to sell. I also inquired with a staff member at the PC game reseller warehouse Beep and he'd never heard of it either. Googling the kanji brings up a link to Aucfan, which seems to archive items featured on Yahoo Auctions, but doesn't appear to actually indicate any occurrences of the game itself being up for auction.

The two names that crop up in any association of the series are Yoshio Kawasaki and Yayoi Yamada but again I couldn't find anything on them.

A few days ago I checked the Amazon JP listing for Horror Tour 3, and someone actually had it for sale. I grabbed it, but unfortunately as I anticipated, the order ended up getting cancelled. Official reason: it was sold in the physical store (many Amazon sellers have a physical store and just list goods on Amazon on the side...this leads to very bad stock control). I have a hunch it was more of an erroneous listing though.
Oh well, the search continues.

Nice choice on the image for the front page. Those women of all people are the ones who give you the directions on how to get through the forest, for some strange reason.
