What's this about using two controllers? The way I remember it you had to find the phone pieces, then the call site, then the landing zone. Or better yet, the landing zone first and then the call site. I think this is about the Indy game. I remember watching a playthrough of that one on Youtube and having shit all of a clue what was going on.

So any news from the dig? www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=808495In a totally expected turn of events (after all, Microsoft is funding the excavation and a reality show based on it for their tee vee (TM) service for their Xbox One... and it would be a shame if they found nothing, right? RIGHT?), they found copies of ET and other Atari games, in almost mint condition, stickers on the plastic, manuals and flyers perfectly preserved and all, and they say there's "lots more below". Oh, the magic of Reality TV. (This is terrible, fake or otherwise. Still Microsoft's involvement seems almost natural for me. With the second videogame crash looming, they might as well make use of that landfill of theirs)

With the second videogame crash looming, they might as well make use of that landfill of theirs) People have been saying this for 15 years. If it was going to happen, it would have happened.

Considering MS is involved, has anyone made any comments between the parallels between the Atari dig and the one in Raiders yet?

I think it's cool that there's stuff being found there, but I'm sad that this happened before the Angry Video Game Nerd movie could come out

To be fair, hasn't he been working on that for like five years? You snooze, you lose.

Someone needs to film a quarry for a few hours, then release the footage as the world-exclusive discovery of the legendary Pet Rock landfill. EDIT: What the fuck.

It's probably going to be like when they opened the Ark in Indy Jones 1 only with the malice and sadness of the cartridges being unloved and being buried for so long it results with them taking there revenge on the world and THEY WILL DESTROY US ALL! Better leave it be.
And besides how will they find the right place to dig. Wasn't the place left unmarked?

They most probably did some months of research to determine the site, and I'm pretty sure some instrumentation could give confirmation that there was a lot of stuff underground. I think they were reasonably sure of were to dig beforehand; I doubt the local authorities would have authorized all this otherwise.
