I have a Freeloader for my GC and I love it, though I've only used it for Japanese games on my North American system. I was wondering whether the Freeloader will allow me to play PAL games. I don't think there should be a region problem, as the Freeloader eliminates that factor, but I was thinking maybe the 50 htz/ 60 htz issue would give me a problem and I wouldn't be able to see the game. Does anyone with experience importing PAL GC games know?

I assume you plan to import Doshin the Giant or something along those lines, USUALLY PAL games come with a 50hz/60hz mode selector (yeah isn't that great, ridiculous standards) so you should be fine, I'm not aware on American TVs but most new TVs in Australia support 50/60 so I don't see why US TVs wouldn't.

No they don't unfortunately. Hopefully Doshin does have the mode selector.

I had heard that you could force 60hz mode on the UK Gamecubes by holding in the B button whilst booting a game- given that I haven't encountered a game without the 60hz mode though I cannot vouch for this.
