Looks very nice! It appears that Goro has been turned into some kind of Goro-Kintaro hybrid, with the fire-spitting and everything. But still - it's not a full Mortal Kombat without Shang Tsung!

Didn't the studio responsible for "Mortal Kombat" these days also develop "Injustice: Gods among us"? Because if so, could you call them and tell them I want a sequel, please?

Johnny Cage is not afraid to die.
I'd enjoy an Injustice sequel, but I hope the story mode isn't as choppy and disjointed as it was in Injustice 1. It wasn't even about what they advertised it to be about either.

For me, it was an outstanding VITA fighter (and the VITA has a good selection of those)... I loved the environmental strikes, they were always fun. I knew to expect nothing of the story, though. I thought it would just be a pretext for all this fighting (which it was).

Oh yeah I'm glad they have some environmental things in the MKX backgrounds now. I do wish the new MK games had stage fatalities though, even if it was just very simple "uppercut person into a pit" like MK1.

It's true. For last year the game was Destiny. It reached some kind of logical event horizon with the number of people that both hated the game completely but still put like 500 hours into it. I think it will be MKX this year since a lot of fan favorites like Jade are gone, some people will hate that the stamina/running is back, etc.
Still, despite some MK games being awful, I do respect that Midway is never afraid to change things up each time and this one+GGXrd are already the best fighting games this year unless like a King of Fighters XIV appears out of nowhere at E3 or something.

Someone made some really good fake beta test shots of "Garou 2" in like 2003 it was awesome but sad all at once.

They put out several mobile games over the past year that have been fairly popular, along with many mobile ports of their classics, PC release of KoF 2002 UM, etc. They stopped caring about games several years ago but have still been keeping their stuff visible. Metal Slug 3 just came out on Vita/PS4 also.
Of the mobile games Rhythm of Fighters and Beast Busters feat. KOF are probably their best. Beast Busters is similar structure to that horrible Deadman's Cross mobile game SquareEnix put out only better in every way.
