Oh Gekido..how the mighty have fallen and then changed into Super Devil May Cry probably bad control scheme and the Sands of timerayne. I base that on the cutting of the enemy in half and the woman? in the second PSP shot looks identical to the one in Bloodrayne 2 (using black lines in strategic places to keep it M).
In all fairness though it might be an awesome game though, we all know the PSP needs some great games, Gekido though was the Playstations only really geuinely cool beat'em up (except Crisis Beat and we don't talk about Crisis Beat).

Gekido games are the lesser known Beat-em' ups. The Gameboy color one looks awesome but I dont think it came out in America. Have you ever played the PSX one? It is really awesome. I got it a few months ago at a local gamestop for $4.99. Also they are comming out with a Gekido for PSP but it looks more like a Devil May Cry ripp off than a beat em up No I haven't, but thanks for the GBC insight!!! Exalts to you. I didn't know there was one for GBC. Also dude, those upcoming Gekido pics look like Dante's!!!!! No shame!!!

I want to get it, is it any good? It looks and plays good, but it becomes boring quickly. You have to run from one side of the stage to the other back and forth, collecting keys or something (it was a long time ago I played it). There's no much variety of attacks either.

Capcom was making a DMC game for psp called Dance of Sparda but it seems to have been canned recently, I think that game became Gekido(hence the similarity). Also DMC1 for PS2 was gonna be RE4 originally(That's why Dante resembles Leon S Kennedy). Another fun fact:when they were making RE4 originally a glitch occured when shooting an enemy with a gun that enemy would hover in mid-air and if you continued to shoot the enemy they would stay in the air thus DMC was born.

DMC RE4 has nothing on Hookman...I want hook man so freaking much.
Also according to the Devil May Cry wiki "The idea of juggling enemies in the air with gunshots came from a glitch in the production for Onimusha.".
