I hope they dont cancel Zelda TP for GCN, because if they did so many people who cant get Wii yet will be pissed. I really want a Wii, but at my financhal state I doubt I will be able to posess one for a while and I really want to try out TP. Any one else on the same boat as me?

I was gonna play it on the GC but after hearing so many positive responses from the media I'm considering waiting to get my Wii before playing it.

The Wii isn't that expensive and your GC is dying anyway. Save your lunch money or ask Santa or the Chanukah Armadillo. Sure, I love the purple lunchbox but why not just wait for the upgrade next year or something?

Still really cynical about the Wii controls. Since I'm not buying the system, I was going to grab the GC version, but Nintendo's being really shifty as to the release date.
Don't understand why people with Gamecubes will shell out an extra $250 when they can play without unnecessary controls.

I hope the game turns out well, I would really like to play on the Wii but at the moment I have no funds and the only thing I can afford is the GCN untill I get a Wii. And the chances of me getting a Wii during the holidays are 000.1 out of a Million. Hopefuly some stores have TP for GCN. I read some articles on IGN and on one the guy said that it took the testers 70+ hours to beat the game, and with out doing any side quests skiping cintamatics it took one of the translators 50+. Seems like a big game. I havent really seen any new screens or box art for the GCN one, I sure as hell hope it comes out. I really want to play this one, and I've been wating for it for years. Finaly got a GCN in March, just to get the Zelda and RE games, but I found some new games I love, such as Killer7 and Geist.

I'm shelling out another $250 for Zelda, Wario Ware, and Brawl. That's it, really.

Since I'm not buying the system... Wait, you're not buying the system, ever? Well, I'd hope that the people spending $250 for a Wii are going to eventually be playing other games for the system when they're done with Twilight Princess. Besides that, I think there is a definite appeal in the Wii version of Twilight Princess' control functions, particularly the sword-swinging, fishing, and arrow-firing.

Both of my roommates are getting Wiis. The only game that remotely interests me is Metroid Prime 3, and that got delayed. I'm sure there will be some better stuff down the line, but right now, the library is pretty thin. But that's standard for launch anyway.

Yeah, sorry I was being a smartass, I actually really love the GC and always suggest it in the store I work at. Don't lump me in with those Gamefaqs assholes. One of the reasons why I love this forum so much is because we generally don't have people like that here and we can actually have a civil conversation without being trolled or worse.

DAMN YOU ALL FOR SCARING ME LIKE THAT.
Something like nintendo canning it is enough to make me never buy a nintendo system ever again.
