www.hardcoregaming101.net/torin/torin.htmI put this up along with The Black Cauldron for two reasons: one, it was also developed by Al Lowe, and two, it's a fantasy adventure game that looks like it could be a Kings Quest game. It isn't, but it's also quite a bit better than Kings Quest VII, which was released a little earlier using similar technology.

...Did I see Yoda, Darth Vader and Hotaru (Sailor Saturn) trapped into the green crystals? Yup! If you check out the Easter Egg section on the Let's Play Archive, there's a post from one of the artists that discusses how he snuck those in there.

Just saw a copy of this at a garage sale, but didn't buy it. I just remember seeing this in Sierra's magazine (I forget the name of it) and thinking it was weird that Al Lowe was doing something that was less-bawdy than LSL & Freddy Pharkas.

I never actually cared much for LPs but these listings can be useful for finding hidden stuff and unusual informations. Thanks for the tip! Also, I thought that the other guy in the crystals was Stanley Kubrick, where he actually is Charlton Heston. *embarassed*

I really need to give this a try at some point. It reminds me a lot of Septerra's Core, especially the world within a world aspect, which is something I've always liked.
