Is there a way to display all possible ROMs in your collection in MAME 0.154? As it stands, you either have to type in the name of the specific game you want to play, or settle for one of the random ones they suggest when you boot up. All of the older versions of MAME that I've used have given you a clear list of all available titles, so this seems pretty unintuitive.

It's like they decide to fuck with things each time just to see people suffer...

That's odd, since I'm using MAMEUIFX 0.154 and nothing is different from previous versions.
Are you sure it's all random, and not just the same few? Going from one version of MAME to another, the roms can change quite a bit, and need an extra rom in the zip/folder. Like the recent versions of CPS2 games require "qsound.bin"
If you haven't done this yet, under Options>Interface Settings, uncheck "Display NO ROMS games as always available." That should remove roms that seem to be a part of the program nowadays(usually versions of Pong) from the available list.
Finally, under Options>Directories, under "ROMs" from the dropdown list, do you have it linked to your roms and BIOS files?

That's the weird thing. There's absolutely no menu in this version. I got it from here: mamedev.org/release.html. Supposedly this is the official MAME developer site, so I went with the 64 bit binaries.

Huh, well that explains that. I always thought even the official branch was Windows style. So I imagine there's a frontend you could use. Otherwise, try the version I use: mame32fx.altervista.org/download.htm

The version you're using seemed to do the trick. Thanks!
