So I'm leaping into the next Gen next week.
Reviews on sonic Next Gen are slow so I'm not going to get it until a price drop.
SO there's a vacent space I'm grabbing gears of war pre perchase of 360 and DOA4
I'm Thinking Either FEAR or Dead Rising
Suggestions?
edit: question asked here about controllers answered

Get a Japanese 360 since a lot of American games work on it anyway, and the Asian versions are cheaper as well. And you can play Senko no Ronde.
But that's just me. =\

Dead Rising. It's River City Ransom with zombies, or so I'm told.

FEAR vs Dead Rising? I'd get Dead Rising. I've heard that the 360 port of FEAR has some issues...

But no question. Dead Rising is probably the greatest X360 game out there right now. Though... I haven't even played it, so take my grain with an advice of salt.

If you're quick, it looks like Amazon is going to be selling 1000 core 360s at the end of November for $100 each! I had a 360 at one point but lost interest in it. However, a friend of mine has one and also has Dead Rising, which is really an awesome game.

Anybody play the FULL (not demo version) of Sonic next Gen? I was considering that too.

I'd say go with Dead Rising as well. It's one of those games that has an infinite amount of replay value and not too many games other than the GTA's and its clones can really say that. I want FEAR but I'm waiting to get it on PC when I upgrade in a couple years and it's dirt cheap (I always get the high-end PC stuff pretty late with the exception of Half-Life and Doom3). I say anytime you can get new console exclusives that are really awesome, like Gears of War, do it rather than getting some new really popular game that is on multiple platforms. The multi-platform stuff usually goes down in price much quicker and you can pick it up for $20 or $30 used after everyone's traded it in. The trick is to buy smart, especially on a new system like the 360, so you have the money to enjoy as many games as possible.
