Yeah, that kind of stuff happens all the time. The buyer will probably be notified by someone of his mistake or figure it out himself and not pay.

Effectively, yes. Not as bad as the $400 Playstation 2 box.

Well it's really not that funny if you think it could have been somebody's grandmother trying to buy her grandchild a present for christmas.

Actually, it says in the description midway through the page that its three Playstations. So it "technically" wasn't a scam. Still, I feel bad for the moron.

"HERE IS NOWHERE TO FIND EVEN THE 20GB SYSTEMS THIS CHEAP....BUY THESE INSTEAD!"
That's a very dicey statement, if the person realises their mistake before they pay for it they may be able to retract their sale. I know it says *Instead* but one could argue that it has a double meaning, being buying from this auctioner rather then any other.
Personally I know morons deserve this but on the other hand, I don't think a jerk who puts up an auction like this to scam people (because that's what it is) deserves money.

The buyer doesnt have to pay, I've done that on a few of my accounts. (the reason I always have to make a new one)

"You're bidding on Sony Playstations, 3 of them"
...Gotta read the fine print, it seems.
