Here's an interesting japanese indie 2D action game with cute anthropomorphic characters I just found today at 4chan. It has been released in October 2014 and it costs less than a cheeseburger at McDonalds. I gave it a try first with the demo. I liked it, so I decided to buy the full version (good thing I had spare money at prepaid card so I won't have to go to the bank). My only major complain is the fucked up settings for the controls (JoyToKey* is your friend once again). And my minor complain is one of the playable character's design that makes it obvious that the creator is a huge fan of My Little Pony - Friend is Magic. And althought you can enjoy it without knowing japanese (it's quite straight-forward action game after all) and there is english description for the controls at DLSite it would be nice if the game itself was in english just for the story and for more convenient navigation at the menu. Gameplay video from the demo: Download link: www.dlsite.com/eng/work/=/product_id/RE129482.htmlCreator's page at pixiv (Warning: some of his/her drawings are kinda perverted even if there is no nudity): www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=371716* Joy2Key site and tips (neccessary if you want to play with a Playstation controller and customize the controls just like you want easily) joytokey.net/en/joytokey.net/en/tips

Looks (and sounds) like the more recent Mega Man X games when playing Zero. Which is a very good thing.
I'm not so sure I can ignore the art direction, though.

What if I told you that the playable characters (not the pony one) are actually boys dressed as girls?

Until a few years ago, I always thought it was "anthromorphic". Still kind of prefer it that way.

I don't mind the art style, but good grief, that level design is dull. I think SMB1 had more engaging level layouts than this.
