Well, the CEO likes a band that has a black guitarist. He can't be all that bad.

Putting aside the political agenda of some of the creators (and not the whole development team) I didn't see any racism hints on the trailer. What is it with gaming crowds nowadays and ignoring the political status of racists and nazis among them? ...weren't nazis and racists a bad thing? Like, people we should never support, ever, cause the holocaust and slavery and so forth? When did we reach a point where "they're literal nazis/racists" was somehow not the end of an argument on why someone is a terrible person? They're fucking racists. Why would you even think of giving money to racists making a murder simulator that came from the head of a 12-year-old nu-metalhead? Why would anyone bother defending this game? There's no answer to this that doesn't paint someone as awful in my mind. You're right. Save your money for feminazi projects that only care about making money out of nothing instead of caring about real gender equality. Also you missed my point: Judge the game, not the creators.

Well, the CEO likes a band that has a black guitarist. He can't be all that bad. Wouldn't be surprised if he thought the band was better with another guitarist, or he's completely unaware of what the actual musicians look like. Hell, I was surprised a few years ago when I learned Thin Lizzy's lead singer was black. That was a neat thing I learned.

I think we need a new "law". By now it is way more likely for a topic about videogames to end in "sjw vs. gg" talk, than in accusations of nazi-ism.

For now the game looks like it has nothing else going on except the controversy. Take all the attention away and all we have is a grim-dark indie shooter. At least Naughty Bear had some original ideas and didn't look like it was trying too hard to be edgy.

sjws are denying me my right to play games again?! Maybe they'll be ok with it if there's a "control scheme for girls" like Cap'm Sarkeesian is suggesting for Mirror's Edge 2. Well, Sarkeesian didn't say that nor is she working on the new Mirror's Edge, but hey, believe whatever you want. This game is basically a modern Postal. I wanna say Postal was just as morally depraved as this, but I never played it outside of a demo many years ago. It'll probably come out, get some people angry, then be promptly forgotten. What's more disturbing to me is people in that community asking for SJWs and people like Zoe Quinn, Sarkeesian et al to be playable characters. To quote Jim Sterling: Like, you want a game to help you fantasize about putting a gun in Phil Fish's mouth and pulling the trigger? That's really kinda fucked.

This is exactly the same as Postal. While 2 and 3 attempted to be humorous the original was much darker in tone and extremely similar to what we see here in Hatred. Like so similar that Postal 1 already makes Hatred obsolete and not worth possessing by its very existence.

This... This actually looks like a fun arena shooter. If it DOES get released, I think I'll try it out. I don't fucking care for any kind of controversy, though, since I prefer to live a stress-fee life.

Eh, not edgy enough. Dude should at LEAST pass by a deflated basketball and deliberately choose not to re-inflate it. Or failing that, spread mayonnaise on some cardboard boxes and wait a whole half hour to clean it up.

Well, Sarkeesian didn't say that nor is she working on the new Mirror's Edge, but hey, believe whatever you want. If that's the case I'm happy to be proven wrong, that's excellent news. On the other hand I'm sad that it'll be that much longer until she consults on a game, it bombs ass, and her supporters blame misogynist terrorists for its failure. This game is basically a modern Postal. I wanna say Postal was just as morally depraved as this, but I never played it outside of a demo many years ago. It'll probably come out, get some people angry, then be promptly forgotten. The Postal games will disagree with your worldview. But there's a lot of subversive stuff in the second game that I think would make it worth checking out even to people offended by it, like the non-violent options. Otherwise 1 and 2 are trashy, fucking around kind of games like many of the GTAs, so if you can get over yourself you might like them. It is definitely horrible and fucked up. But besides that, Fish deserves to live to deal with the bed he shat that he calls his career.

This game is solely based on: " a reaction to video game aesthetic trends such as political correctness, politeness, vivid color, and games as art." So basically, it's a game with an agenda. Remember when games were about how fun they are to play? Why does it have to have such a stupid reason to exist. Didn't know political correctness and politeness were trends nowadays. I'm not personally offended or something, but it's still a pretty tasteless concept, even though killing innocents is not something new to video games at all. I don't mind stuff like this or nudity, whatever in media, but in video games it just feels cheap and unneeded. It's also the most edgy shit since Shadow the Hedgehog and Donte. vetusI get what you're trying to say, but if you ignore racists or nazis or whatever (don't know much about this case, though, just generally speaking) because art is seperate from that, IMO you are taking art (in this case not even art, but a video game) too serious. You would't buy a game from Hitler or a KKK member.
