Only Wii controls I had problems with was the defibrillator. Touch controls work better under pressure, the motion scheme will have you practice your accuracy a lot more.

There are three actually, but Trauma Team is just one. You can't confuse it with the others. Whoops, sorry. Misread that as "Trauma Center", not "Trauma Team". @ Jason X: I never had any problems with the controls either on Wii or DS. In contrast, I think these are among the only games that truly benefit from both control schemes. Just like zenithianhero said, the only time the controly ever got in my way were with the defibrillator.

I have to concur with whoever said that the suction parts weren't optimal. Can't count how many times I got no response while trying to perform that task in those games. Had a lot of trouble registering correct input on the Wii, as well.

These are the ones I've completed:
Trauma Center: Under the Knife Trauma Center: New Blood Trauma Team
Of those, Trauma Team was by far the best. It is a very large, long game with tons of variety and innovation in its game design (my favorites were diagnostics and forensics). Trauma Team also has an astounding OST that I still listen to today once in a while. Sadly Trauma Team sold so badly that Atlus said it was unlikely they would continue this series.
