Re: IBM PC version. There's at least one dump of the Booter around, problem is, it's not a proper one. I believe it's partially defective. TOSEC also has it labled as bad.
I also have dumps of the disks in teledisk format (td0), from the MESS softlists but have no idea if it's working yet.
The Mac version is yet another game that needs hacking to make it playable on emulators.

I have a copy of this somewhere on CD-ROM, thanks to EA's Top Ten Pack II. www.cdaccess.com/html/pc/eatoptn2.htmIt's the commemorative edition, of course. Never got around to playing it, naturally.

Fans of this might want to check out Expeditions: Conquistador on Steam. It cuts out the sailing and it has a linear RPG style main plot, but on the other hand it has tactical combat.
