Guh! One day I will finally get around to finishing that game. It has been a millstone around my neck for over a decade now. I made it just about as far as picking up Ignus, and then I made the mistake of peeking at a FAQ and felt bad that I didn't think to bring my intestines with me. That was the excuse I needed to stop, since it was doing an excellent job of keeping me awake. I've used the install guide at thunderpeel2001.blogspot.ca/2009/01/planescape-torment-fully-modded.html and it's all queued up and ready to go. The only thing that really stopped me is that all the text got so tiny after installing one of the resolution mods. Is there a quick way to remedy that?

those mods work by changing how much of the map is shown on-scree and they don't scale anything so the bigger the resolution, the smaller the text and sprites. I don't think there's a way around it other than not playing in HD and just picking something widescreen but small

Whey, I just played through it a few months ago. Having not played it when it originally came out, the game was still very good. I was surprised by how minor a role combat had, but I think it was a good thing – there’s quite enough to do just reading the script and enjoying the atmosphere. The combat-oriented areas (like Baator) are among the weakest of the game, I think. The story and atmosphere are wonderful and entertained me more than the hack-and-slash of BG. It’s also quite philosophical without providing the player easy answers to the questions it asks, which is how I think it should be.
I did run into a few bugs – I managed to easily permanently piss off the Godsmen (which apparently isn’t supposed to happen), resulting in me having to kill a peaceful NPC in order to advance the plot. I also accidentally skipped a big part of Curst by wandering into a dungeon from where I could find no escape except by going forward. I’m not sure if that is supposed to happen or not, but it felt weird.

I think the whole Curst area is hurt a bit because of the engine the game is in. It's set up to be a very dangerous and urgent place where you're being pursued and constantly chased. But in game that's represented by going down that long cell block fighting a billion slow guys. It's definitely the weakest part of the game for me too. I didn't mind Baator as much because you're not there very long and it leads to that fun dimensional hopping part.

One of my favourite games, I wish we could get a spiritual sequel, but there is one thing that I never understood.
How can the skull Morte transport various things? I mean his is a skull, but you can put daggers or letters in his inventory. Morte is awesome
Yours sincerely

I never heard the term hammerspace. I read the wikipedia article and it was very informative. I didn't really think about it, but it is pretty common in diverse media.^^ Thank you very much for the information Yours sincerely Jack Caeylin

It sounds like a spiritual sequel, but I really don't know a thing about the product. Due to the weird past of some kickstarter projects (especially Unsung Story,Mighty Number 9 and the Red Riding Hood game IIRC), I started to have really low expectations. I will buy Tides of Numenera, but I will wait until the game has a release and some patches. Yours sincerely Jack Caeylin PS: I am deeply sorry regarding double post. It wasn't my intent.

I'm disappointed that Tides of Numenera went for Early Access after getting Kickstater money and missing a release date but I hope they make a good game in the end. I won't buy it until an official release though.

You've heard of hammerspace? If no google it. Apparently he's got skullspace. Thanks to the Traveler RPG system it is common knowledge that the average human can store three liters of mechanical equipment inside of their skull.

speaking of Traveler, I wish more games had a system in which the character can die when you create him
