I'm interested in this, tho I plan to wait til Luke Cage drops to re-sub Netflix. I'll catch new Voltron then.

Wish I could see it but I don't have Netflix. That has never stopped anyone.

I have been watching it, it is ok so far.
I am finding it weird that Voltron does not seem to be as effective as the lions, the lions were powered up with more weapons in this series and as a team of five lions they seem to be more dangerous and cause more damage than Voltron, to the point it makes me wonder why everyone is calling Voltron the most powerful weapon ever when it is less useful than it's parts.

That bothered me a lot, too. Furthermore, there are only two Robeast fights in the entire season, and both of them are "puzzle bosses" that are basically Voltron getting pummeled until finally the magical "New Weapon" button revealed itself. Voltron is arguably the weakest part of the show thus far, well, besides the "Hunk is obsessed with food" running gag.

It looks so dull and cheap-made from the trailer.

I can't believe this is from the people who made Avatar: The Last Airbender.
That's... that's quite the downward leap, I'm not gonna lie.

Voltron and Avatar only share the studio which did the animation, Studio Miur. It also shares some of Korra's writing staff (Tim Hedrick, Joshua Hamilton) and a director (Joaquim Dos Dantos, who also serves as executive producer). And has some of the same problems, namely making the villains so ridiculously powerful that there's rarely a satisfying way for the heroes to win in the off chance they do.

It looks so dull and cheap-made from the trailer. It's not bad actually, i just wish Voltron was more powerful but they do have a decent amount of action and stuff happening to stop it from being boring, and the animation is not that bad, not the best ever though, i was expecting more from the studio but it is still good. The only bad thing is that like i said, for the most powerful weapon that has ever existed, Voltron is really underwhelming and the Lions kick much more ass, but in the last episode, Zorkon, the bad guy who ages ago saw Voltron at it's full potential, says that the new pilots are not capable of using much of it's power, making Voltron alot weaker than it should be, Zorkon says it is because each pilot's connection with the Lions are still weak. So i am guessing we will only see Voltron actually being the strongest weapon ever near the end of the series or even just the last episode.
