www.bombergames.net/This is an amazing homebrew which combines elements from all three Genesis Streets of Rage games into one big uber game. Six playable characters from the outset, including Adam! Branching paths! Remixed music, all of which is very well done and randomly includes a Super Adventure Island song (Yuzo Koshiro tribute, I guess.) Those crazy screen clearing helicopter attacks from the first game! For years I wanted to do something like this to the Dracula X games...like an mega version combining both the PCE and SNES titles, while ironing out some of the problems of the latter. Too bad my programming knowledge has long lapsed, and was never that expansive to begin with.

That thing's a beta, but it sounds really great!

Adam plus the old style "super moves" totally rocks. I am down with this project.

I really like that it's faster than the actual games

Speaking of which, where can I get Beats of Rage?
And was that GBC style Castlevania X remake, Dracula G, ever finished? If so, where can I download that?

Because no one here can be bothered, all I can do in relation to game dev is sprites and concept art and sprites are annoying as hell to be bothered with. Is anyone here even a competent programmer (TGF doesn't count).

This is really amazing. There are so many options, unlockables and extra features it's hard to remember it's a fan made game. They REALLY went the extra mile with this... even the interface design is very well done.
I've played alot of bad fan-made beat-em-ups using the Beats or Rage engine, most were beyond horrible, but this is different. These guys actually wanted to make a good game... and succeeded. And.... it's FREE! They're not trying to make a buck off of Sega's work, they're not even crying out for donations. This is the stuff I like to see! Good find!

Heh. First I can't access the website, until today, now I can't download the remake. Is this remake really worth the trouble?

I just played the game today and I have to say that I'm very impressed. I'm usually critical of many homebrew attempts because of their lack of polish but I find this one extremely fun. I like the aspect of taking all of the good qualities in a series and combining them into a great game. The remixes on the songs are surprisingly not bad, too. I can only hope someone will do the same for the TMNT: Turtles in Time with 4-player support and the extra levels from the SNES version!
