Vicarious Visions are a pretty interesting developer. They're anything but a household name, and yet they've been responsible for a massive library of games, including some pretty damn amazing handheld ports of console games, as well as solid console ports of PC games (The Xbox version of DOOM³ was quite great despite the cutbacks, thanks to the awesome co-op mode).

This came with a video game magazine in the late 90s (PC Joker, for those familiar with German mags)... actually that and a couple of other, way older full games, too - Magic Boy and Cool Croc Twins were the ones I actually played, never managed to get this one working. So it's actually cyber punk themed? Damn.

I gotta say that, being more used to their handheld work, seeing Synnergist feels odd. It's also nice to see that Synnergist has a page on their site, unlike other companies that just seem to remove anything they've made prior to like 2005 or whatever.

So no one's really ever found those easter eggs? Sounds like a case for some reverse engineering.

So no one's really ever found those easter eggs? Sounds like a case for some reverse engineering. There was one dude in particular over at RPGCodex who gave them a really good try. He found some interesting stuff (the "clues" that I referenced in the article), but it seems he ran into a dead end.
