When one drinks, one may enjoy a certain game or genre the most. Let's discuss those drinks and games.
I like to drink Guinness Extra Stout because it's the only drink that comes in a bottle that hits me real good and doesn't have me drowning can after can before I have no idea what's even going on. My best game when I'm super drunk and got nobody around is Quake III Arena with Nightmare bots solely because my judgement goes out the window and I stop worrying about how cheap bots are being although I never do good against humans when I'm drunk for some odd reason. When I HAVE to play with other drunk people, it's always a fighting game because it's actually when we're drunk that we can have unadulterated fun where nobody is worried about who is spamming or who is using the broken characters.
And you guys?
•Favorite Alcoholic Beverage
•Favorite Video Game to enjoy while under the influence
•Favorite genre to play drunk

Cool topic.
I am kind of a beer and wine nerd.I don't consume spirits or cocktails anymore, though I liked Islay whiskeys....Anyway. I change and try a lot, my taste changes. I live in the middle of a wine region, and my favorites include elegant, yet easy going whites, mostly burgundy varieties without oak, though I love Elbling, an old white german, varietal, to death. Esp. the more "modern" Elblings that are a bit more expensive and are made "sur lie" and with lots of harvest reduction. I love cool, elegant, sourish reds as well, particularly Pinot Noir/Spätburgunder.
As for beers, I love classic traditional bavarian styles such as Dunklers,Kellerbier,Rauchbier,Bock, but well.......cask conditioned bitter Ale, american double IPAs, Altbier, Kölsch, belgian dubbles and quadrupels and sours in general or french biere de gardes are also fine for me;)
As for playing while drinking: I love playing arcade-style multiplayer games with friends while drinking. Streetfighter,Mariokart, Mortal Kombat, combat on Atari, or heck even competitve Tetris. In those situations, I prefer sessionable beers.
While drinking wines, I prefer single player games, and then strategy games, RPGs or point and clicks....yeah. The Blackwell series, for instance, went very well with a nice Grauburgunder.
In general, i feel different game genres go well with different alcoholic beverages. Like drink/food pairing, drink/game pairing should be a thing.

I have a history of Alcoholism in my family. So everyone gets nememnmenmeneme on me if I drink alone.
But I drink with friends quite often, and I drink Whiskey and Coke. And I play Nintendo multiplayer games. And Twisted Metal. But my favorite is to play Tabletop games. Nothing like Drunken D&D I tell you.

I find beer and wine disgusting and am saddened that these two are the only drinks with an actual 'flavor' to them that people generally drink.
Either way, my favorite drink would be something like vodka or rum mixed with pretty much anything. Especially rum goes together with everything. Coke? Sure. Those bright orange drinks with dozens of fruits and vitamins? Hell yeah. Chocolate Milk? You bet.
Thing is, usually when I drink with friends and we play a game, we get into the game too much to drink a lot, and thus to ever get to the point of being really affected by it. Add to that the fact that we're all pretty alcohol-tolerant, and there's barely a real difference.

i'm a punk at heart, so cheap beer (lager) is my go-to. if i'm trying to impress or splurging, i'll go for an ale. I'd prefer wine, but it's ridiculously overpriced where I live.
As for drunk games, anything sandbox is good for me in a casual setting. For parties, it really depends on the crowd: some parties are more relaxed, where 12 people passing a controller for shmup plays is more welcome. Other parties are more hyperactive, where h2h puzzle games, racers, or fighting games are more fitting.

I don't have a favorite drink per se, and I never drink to the point of getting drunk. For drinks, I have moods. But I probably lean more towards wine and whiskey.
Beer: I don't have one I love-love. I try to mix it up with different craft beers or Belgian ales, especially stuff from Monkish Brewing. But for run-of-the-mill beer, I can go with Sapporo, Singha, Hite, Kronenbourg 1664.
Whiskey: Macallan 12-year, Buffalo Trace, Angel's Envy Port Barrel Finished, Yamazaki 12-year.
Wine: mostly reds. It's too pricy for me to drink all the time while gaming. But if I had the money to, there would Rosenthal Cabernet Sauvignon, Chateau Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape, and Chateau Mont-Perat Bordeaux. (hardly top shelf stuff, besides the Beaucastel, but it's still money).
Sparkling/Champagne: Affordable stuff - Jaume Serra Cristalino. Mumm Napa. Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs. Francis Coppola Sofia sparkling rose. Authentic Champagne to splurge - Louis-Roederer, Nicolas-Feuillate
Sake: Otokoyama Tokubetsu Junmai. Kikusui Junmai Ginjo. Sayuri nigori sake.
Random: Bokbunjajoo (Korean Black Raspberry Wine), especially Bohae.
Favorite games to play? I'll drink and play any game... Recently been replaying Seiken Densetsu III/Secret of Mana 2, and Metal Gear Solid 1. Sometimes I'll speed run Ninja Gaiden 1 on NES. Street Fighter Alpha 3. And to legally drink and drive, occasionally Gran Turismo 6.

PBRs + Street Fighter 2 + drinking game = hilarity.
Vodka + Mario Kart 8 + friend = salty rage.

I generally stick to Bud/Bud Light or Coors Original. I get some Sam Adams Seasonals from time to time as well. Rum and cokes if I'm not feeling the beer.
As for games, if I'm by myself I'll fire up an emulator and just run through the list until something grips me for a little while. Playing with friends, it depends on who I'm with as some have different tastes. I don't do that much anymore since we've grown up a bit, but my old roommate and I used to spend nights playing Dusty Diamonds Softball, Baseball Stars, and Tecmo Super Bowl to the early morning hours. If I was with another group we'd play Smash Bros. Melee, DBZ Budokai, Halo, or DOA 3. Or dominating NBA Jam with Detlef Schrempf.
