Ever played a musical instrument or been a singer? I used to play the piano in my 10's until I stopped some years later. I also had one of those small electronic organs that used to be shown at Radio Shack but I always had saw it more as a curiosity than a musical instrument.

I composed dozens of tracks on my PC with Renoise; I sang on some of them, which were full songs. I finished second in song/video competition on MTV, all of that years and years ago, around 2001-2002.

I played trumpet in my school's band for 8 years, which included intramural competition. I also played in a jazz ensemble for 2 years, and french horn for 1 year.
I didn't take it with me after high school. I've been meaning to pick back up, but I don't want to drop the cash on a new horn.

I keep telling myself that I should, but it never does happen. Probably because I have a habit of listening to music all the time, even when trying to compose

I play guitar, vocals, and a little drums. A bit out of practice with all due to space and time constraints, but I try write stuff when I do have a moment. I either use the voice memo on my phone to record stuff or I write things in my Garage Band app. I had 4 bands throughout 2000-2010 that played out pretty regularly. Even put out an album and a couple demos.

I've played in bands from 1996 up until 2008. Started out as a drummer continued on to playing guitar and then ended playing with bands as a drummer again. Last thing I was experimenting with was a piano roll composer called 8-bitone on my iPhone. My first band played out a bunch, recorded some demos and ended up on a local comp that was pressed to vinyl. Played in a couple other groups before starting my next professional group, which was still more of a hobby. We had labels release our records which was pretty cool at the time. We toured around Canada and the states which was a blast. The guys in the band would eventually get to tour Europe with their next band afterwards. Kinda regret not getting to do that...

Haven't really played in a regular band setup, but been playing guitar and writing songs for half my life now. Recorded bits and pieces with friends from time to time, but it's mostly been me having written material and telling them how it goes, so, "studio project" status I guess.
Can do okay "desperate passion" 80s post-hardcore vocals (Replacements, Dag Nasty) and for some reason I do okay on Journey stuff. Suck at clean high pitched pop-punk stuff, which is a shame 'cause I love that type of vocals.

Whoops, fixed the headers. Holy Cobras was the last band I was in. Had a great time in that band. I like Bearstorm the best! Reminds me of Acid Witch. Is that band still active? Great stuff!
