www.nintendo.com/super-nes-classicWow. The never-before-released Star Fox 2. I wonder if it will be the 100% completed version? Will there be any sound problems like lag and audio delay?

According to that one guy from Argonaut Software who worked on Star Fox 2, the game was fully completed, but never officially released. He also mentioned that none of the ROMs floating around the Internet are of the fully completed version. If all of this is true, and Nintendo is in fact finally releasing the 100% completed version of the game, then this is a big deal. Am I the only one who thinks Nintendo was kinda hypocritical canceling Star Fox 2? They said it was because they felt it would interfere with the N64 and hurt sales of that, yet they had no problem putting out Kirby's Dream Land 3 in 1997.

Good call having 2 controllers ready. I could never find another NES controller for the NES classic. Saves some frustration.
Star Fox 2 is such a shock. I am also pleased to get Final Fantasy III because the only modern release in English nowadays is that mobile port.
I wish these things were easier to find, I would love to see what a Super Famicom Mini would contain.

So only 21 games compared to 30 for the NES one? Could use more.
While I have most of the games that I wanted for my collection, I'd buy this just for Earthbound. I've wanted to try the game again but with insane prices for it now a days I'd settle for the Mini. Plus Starfox 2 is a big plus.

There are no bad games on the list (well, I've never played Star Fox 2), but it needs Chrono Trigger. Other than that, no beef.

I hope the controllers have some decent length this time. They really could have fit in 30 games, just like the NES mini.
Quite a solid list of games otherwise.

I want one of these really badly, I managed to not want the NES mini and avoid that whole kerfuffle but I gotta get a SNES mini.
Please please please please PLEASE Nintendo don't make this one so scarce, 80$ isn't a bad price point but it is inconvenient trying buy one right away.
But yeah, I really got to get on this, there's a lot of SNES classics I've never played, including Super Metroid and A Link To The Past, which is embarrassing, but now is the perfect opportunity to do so, if only I can find one.

Super Street Fighter 2: New Challengers replaces Turbo This is the only big disappointment of the games on the US list, why is it not a version of Street Fighter 2 with Cammy? Well that and I wish it had Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Chrono Trigger.

Wow, I'm kinda surprised the Japanese version would lack Castlevania, but keep the Contra game. Interesting.

Super Street Fighter 2: New Challengers replaces Turbo This is the only big disappointment of the games on the US list, why is it not a version of Street Fighter 2 with Cammy? SF2T is the better game, though. Although nobody would use an emulated SNES version for competetive play, so more character might have been the way to go anyway. They said it was because they felt it would interfere with the N64 and hurt sales of that, yet they had no problem putting out Kirby's Dream Land 3 in 1997. The reason given was that the message was to be that the N64 was the machine for 3D; a cool looking 3D game on the SNES would have lessened the impact. (Of course, the Saturn and PS1 were out by that point, so that may very well have been naive of Nintendo anyway.)

Hooray!!! I will most certainly pre-order this one. Though I'm tempted to get the Super Famicom Classic Mini as well.

A few questions, how do you think it's going to work as far as filters and aspect ratios go? How did the NES mini work?
And you do think next will be a N64 mini and even a, dare I say it, Gamecube mini?
Gamecube mini is maybe far fetched, but a N64 mini sounds possible.

The most acclaimed ones like SM64 or OoT already have proper remakes on mobile platforms. Some of the hit titles came from Rare and available through Rare Replay, so scratch those too. Paper Mario, maybe? Btw Star Fox 2 has official artwork now.
