I think you mixed up the screenshots of the two games. Don't remember the Sega CD one having the talking heads. Or the better resolution of the two.

Lunacy is awesome and soundtrack is one if my all time favorites. Also pretty unique, can't remember anything similar.

....the heck is SWERY?
I just recently got to play thru the Sega CD game in this series, and honestly... I quite liked it. Yes, I beat it in under an hour on my first playthru, dying only twice (once because I misunderstood something and a second time I was testing if something would kill me) and its not that scary, and it had what I would consider design flaws (like how sometimes you have to re-check a scene and its not always clear if something is there so you have to be careful to always press Up twice to be sure) but it was a fun little journey I quite enjoyed having.
I have the Saturn one... not sure why I haven't played it yet. I do wonder how it makes sense canonically.
