I am somewhat amazed at how positive that article is. Don't get me wrong, I like this game. But it sure has its flaws. First of all, as someone who was raised on turn based pc strategy games, I found the gameplay itself to be kind of shallow... The look and feel are very charming indeed but story whise, I thought there were to man disconnects between what is the real life, its all just a tv show logic and there being a real kinda threat.
Anyway, nice to see an article about it here, and I would personally still recommend picking this up if its on sale or something.

Console SRPGs would be a fairer point of comparison. Most of them aren't too complex, that's just how the genre is. I am aware of this, but those are not what I usually enjoy, and I tried to communicate why this is so. But yeah, it's not the games "vault" per se. |
