Sega is bringing the SEGA AGES experience to Nintendo Switch. Developed by M2, these classic games are remastered with new features and content. The first two released games are Sonic 1 and Thunder Force IV (aka Lightening Force in North America) and new ones will be released each month or two (similar to Hamster's Arcade Archives).

Sonic 1
The Drop Dash from Sonic Mania and Spindash is included in this version.
Mega Play version from the Arcades is a bonus mode. Some stages are missing, but the entire game has a strict time limit for a new challenge.
Ring Keep mode feature is added, determining how many rings you lose when taking damage. You will also start the stage or checkpoint with 10 rings.
Challenge mode is an online ranking mode. You can time attack on Green Hill Act 1 or Score Attack the Mega Play version.
Thunder Force IV
Features STYX mode, which you play as Thunder Force III's ship and weapons. Unlocked when you complete Original mode once.
Kids Mode lifted from the Sega Saturn version allow players to enjoy the game with a lower difficulty and keep your weapons on respawn.
Phantasy Star 1
Difficulty options. FM Sound. In-game map for dungeons, Codex for monsters, Pause menu with descriptions of items and abilities.
Out Run
Known Features: Widescreen and 60FPS. New music added alongside the new music from the 3DS version. Tuning feature from 3DS version (change your car's specs)
Gain Ground (Arcade) (Japan now, West February)
Known Features: Tate (vertical) screen option, leaderboards, "Full Member Mode" unlocks all 20 characters from start. "Helper" mode rewinds gameplay.
Puyo Puyo 1 (Japan February, West: February)
Known features: Online play, new mechanics such as rotate left or right and quick turn.
Alex Kidd in Miracle World
Known features: FM sound mode, Easier Continue option, Rewind gameplay, New illustrations before a stage, Unused music added into the game
