Try practicing a fighting style or a musical instrument, based on a game you love. Like Dhalsim's yoga fighting style. If you love sword fighting... buy a flea market katana Oh please don't.... we don't need another guy thinking he's FF8's Squall slaying his family in his sleep. This will cut down on the feeling that you should be playing a game, and will give you a satisfying feeling that you should be developing your skill, or working on your project. It's more satisfying this way because you feel a greater sense of accomplishment and you have something to show off in the end. I totally agree with this. Ninjarygar's got the main point. I started writing about games instead of playing too much, and since I'm older than most of you guys, I focused on older games. Also, I started writing for other people, but decided to go solo and put up my own website. Thanks to that drive, and from the day I bought "HTML for Dummies" 5 years ago, I am now a web and graphic designer. I can't tell you how proud and satisfied I am now of how far I have come. Just reading books, all on my own. Besides, doing what Ninjarygar says will not only allow you to show off what you do and feel proud about it, but in time land you a job doing what you like most as opposed to being a clerk in Wal-Mart for the rest of your life.

It's weird because I can play any games for a console for hours on end, It only happens when I'm on a PC. If I start playing something like NWN2 or 2142 it completely goes away Sounds to me like you simply don't enjoy PC games.
