Yeah I ran out of ideas for the logo header like a year ago. So, I'm opening it up once again to anyone with more creative juices than me. So! The theme is usually having one or more games in a real world setting, or having two old games combine worlds. The more obscure, the better, probably. Nothing to risque or provacative though. One of the best ones from the last contest was hilarious (the Chocolate City one), but was kinda offensive unless you were familiar with the context. I offered prizes last time but no one wanted them.

Ah, cool. I'd love to take a stab at making a slick logo. Are there any specific size requirements?

I've a concept for one. I lack the proper tools/talent to make it, but here's the idea I have in my head. Plus, it may be too violent, but... how about either Goro or Kintaro from Mortal Kombat ripping Bao from King of Fighters in half set on the Las Vegas (Balrog's) level of Street Fighter II with Kuroko from Samurai Shodown in the background? Something crazy that combines fighters like that?

This is probaly to Risque but I'll share the idea anyway. I'm not sure if you guy's have heard of the Metal band Slayer but once a fan of theirs carved the name "Slayer" into his arm in tribute to the band. I think it would be neat to possibly photoshop the carving into his arm to say "Treasure' or "Cave" instead and use that as a banner. krucoff.com/images/slayer_arm.jpgYeah its probaly a bit much but just a thought.

My idea is taking a snap out of some pirate film like Treasure Island and slapping Treasure's logo in there with some pirate looking really happy with himself for "finding" it.

I don't think anybody took them because they respect you enough to do it without any gifts. We're trying to achieve a common goal here, or at least I think so.
I'll pitch an idea or two, and probably attempt to work on one after I get off of work tommorrow. One idea I had was to have a puzzled looking Sonic stare down a real-life hedgehog. He could say something like "My long lost big brother!?" or something. Not obscure, but comical. Another one could be a tribute to all awesome cavemen. Bonk, Joe & Mac, Prehistorik man, Geico commercial cavemen, all fighting for a piece of meat. It could have the HG name above it all.

Something with Super Robot Wars sprites, I've got a good place for sprites from J and OG1/2.

You could have James Pond juxtaposed in Track & Field 2 but he'd be dying because it's not in water....
