Hey guys, I saw this in a blog post today. I am a big fan of games that sport vector graphics such as classics like Tempest, Asteroids, and Battlezone as well as newer games that feature them such as Rez and Geometry Wars. I thought that these pictures were amazing. They are all taken of various vector graphic games with an exceedingly long exposure setting on the camera. The effect is pretty amazing: www.rosemariefiore.com/pages.php?content=gallery.php&navGallID=12

I want to make a homebrew game with vector graphics and make it play like Magic Carpet, I would call it couch potato, and the whole game you would be a guy on a flying couch, exploring anything you wanted to within this world. I would add caves, other worlds, and some pretty trippy things, but my lack of making games prevents me from making it

Those are some pretty cool pictures. I've played one once that kind of looked like that because the screen was in such bad shape, alot of vectors were burned onto it.

Vectors can be delightful at times, had some good times with the various vector titles..something wonderful about your enemies exploding into a shower of vector lines that made up their form, something that really hasn't been reached until recently with ragdolling on havoc etc.

Hahaha....I actually really want one but I've never put forth the bucks to get it. Maybe this summer I'll pick one up. Plus, the shipping on those systems is outrageous!

I'am a huge fan of games with vector graphics such as Tempest and Mercenary. Vectrex?Another victim of the 1984 crash,an interesting yet unsuccesful experiment...
