Is it normal for a legitimate (i.e non-bootleg) Nintendo cartridge to have the version numbers (the two indented numbers) on the back, spaced as far apart as they are on the bottom cartridge?

The only oddity I have noticed was with my Super Famicom Zelda 1.1 cart, the revision "A" was on the opposite side of the label as the number part.
Can't say I've seen a bootleg have embedded numbers at all, but then again I've heard only in recent years did bootlegs make more attempts to look like real carts.
